RFTA to Increase to Full Seated Capacity on all Buses and Routes Starting June 7th

Starting with the summer season, on June 7th, RFTA will be increasing to full seated capacity on all buses and routes. This includes VelociRFTA BRT, Roaring Fork Valley Local, Carbondale Circulator, Hogback, Ride Glenwood, City of Aspen, and Maroon Bells bus routes.

Summer travel season begins May 21 on the White River National Forest

Visitors urged to avoid muddy roads and trails

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (May 19, 2021) – The summer motorized and mountain bike travel season begins May 21 in most areas on the White River National Forest.

Some roads and trails are not scheduled to open until later in May or June because of conditions at higher elevations or to reduce disturbance to wildlife such as calving elk.
