For the Foodie

If the number of restaurants in Aspen is an indicator of appetite, people here are hungry! With more than 80 eateries in Aspen - old favorites mesh with fresh menus and new talent to provide more than enough culinary options to please any palate.

9 am

Start your day at the Aspen Saturday Market where you will get first dibs on fresh western slope produce the earlier you go. Pick up a croissant for breakfast while browsing. There is also a food court available.

12 pm

Plan on lunch at Meat & Cheese Restaurant and Farm Shop. Save some time, before or after your meal, to peruse the farm shop side of the business which sells specialty cheeses, meats, fresh seafood & produce as well as precious housewares.

3 pm

No Colorado mountain town is taken seriously until they have their own brewery. Aspen Brewing Company is our claim to fame. The boys serve up Brown Bear Ale, Independence Pass IPA, Pyramid Peak Porter and even a delicious root beer for those under 21.

6:30 pm

Score tickets to a farm to table dinner at ACES at Rock Bottom Ranch. Dine at the source of sustainable agriculture with a menu featuring products from the Ranch and surrounding area. A 5-course meal of local foods, cheese, beer, wine, and spirits is served in the open-air pole barn in Basalt. Daily farm tours are available for free if you didn’t happen to score tickets. Become an ACES member for first access on your next trip.

ASAP
