Cure Blindness Project, a global nonprofit dedicated to eradicating avoidable blindness in underserved communities, is hosting an exclusive après-ski event on February 19, 2026, in Aspen. The gathering, sponsored by Aspen Collective and Aspen Merino, will raise awareness and critical funds to support sight-restoring surgeries and sustainable eye care programs in regions where blindness remains a preventable tragedy.
The event will feature inspiring talks by Cure Blindness Project co-founder Dr. Geoff Tabin, a renowned ophthalmologist and professor of ophthalmology and global medicine at Stanford University, and current Cure Blindness Project/Stanford Global Ophthalmology Fellow Dr. Blake Snyder, an Aspen native whose firsthand experience advances the organization's mission.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid on several unique items generously donated by local artists. Additionally, captivating photographs capturing the transformative impact of Cure Blindness Project's work in Kenya, taken by acclaimed Aspen photographer Michele Cardamone, will be on display throughout the evening.
