Clip-In Cycling Camp

Cyclists of all abilities are invited to join The Little Nell for Clip-In, their signature cycling camp, from Sunday, August 17, to Thursday, August 21, 2025. Former pro cyclist Christian Vande Velde is returning to host the camp for his 12th year. While racing, Christian competed in most major cycling events including the World Cup, two Olympic Games, and all three Grand Tours including eleven Tours de France (with two team victories and 4th and 7th best finishes). Currently, Christian works as an analyst for NBC Sports for the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España and is a guest instructor for Peloton.

Joining Christian this year is special guest Bob Roll. “Bobke” is a former professional cyclist who competed as a Tour de France racer (finishing the event three times) and mountain bike competitor. He’s now an author and analyst with NBC Sports’ cycling events and is perhaps best known for his colorful commentary during the Tour de France.

Former pro cyclist Travis McCabe rounds out the pros. Known for his exceptional skills and achievements in competitive cycling, Travis has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with, accumulating three national criterium championships, over 21 professional road victories, and numerous podiums. He now works for Ventum, the camp’s official bike sponsor, as an athlete manager and event coordinator.

Ventum provides all athletes with the use of their state-of-the-art NS1 road bikes or ES1 electric bikes along with a bike fitter and mechanic. New this year – Ventum is offering the option to “build your dream bike” with their team customizing your design at a 40% reduction off the list price. This includes delivery of the bike to Aspen with a personal fitting and maintenance throughout camp, and having it shipped to you afterward. Ventum founder and CEO Diaa Nour will also take part in supporting riders at camp.

As part of camp registration, all riders will be provided with a gear bag from Helly Hansen filled with three custom cycling kits from Pedal Mafia; a helmet and sunglasses from Sweet Protection; cycling socks from Ventum; sports nutrition snacks, drinks, and water bottles from The Feed; a gift from USA Cycling; and sunscreen from Supergoop. Participants should plan to bring shoes and pedals.

In Little Nell fashion, exceptional culinary and wine experiences are a part of the experience led by the acclaimed culinary and wine teams, which will take place at the hotel’s premier restaurants, at the private Aspen Mountain Club, and at a scenic destination offsite.
