Known for their fiery musicianship and genre-defying blend of funk, soul, and disco, the band — Dave Watts (drums), Joey Porter (keys), Garrett Sayers (bass), Drew Sayers (keys, saxophone), and Ryan Jalbert (guitar) — brings fresh energy to their signature sound.
Formed in Colorado in 1998, The Motet have headlined venues and festivals nationwide, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and High Sierra. Their 2024 album, Love Time, marks this exciting new era, showcasing grooves that blend vintage soul and modern funk with heartfelt, personal lyrics.
