MRE is an Aspen-based cover band comprising Roaring Fork Valley locals Steve Cook, Laurel Fox, Kris Harmony, Wes Lanich, Brett Nelson, Mike Ramos, and Nat Zilkha. Coming from various musical backgrounds including touring with Gov’t Mule, playing clubs and festivals around the U.S. (including the Newport Folk Festival) and working as session musicians in New York, LA and Nashville, they initially got together to play good time drinking music for their friends. Now they’re bringing their party back to the Belly Up.
