Taste of Barbados with Chef Kelston Moore

Barbados-born chef Kelston Moore is making his Aspen debut at Mawa's Kitchen to kick off Black History Month celebrations! Now a prominent figure in San Diego's dynamic culinary scene, Chef Kelston is known for creative dishes that blend traditional Bajan flavors with innovation. “The food in Barbados is a mixture of African, Portuguese, Indian, Irish, Creole and British," says Chef Kelston. "All my cooking has flavoring from home or is made with techniques from home. Pretty much the base of every dish has Barbados in it.” For two nights only, Chef Kelston is taking over Mawa’s Kitchen to serve up a multi-course, sensational plated dinner featuring his acclaimed Barbados flavors.
