Destination Management is the coordinated management of all aspects of a destination that contribute to a visitor's experience, taking into consideration the perspectives and expectations of local residents, visitors, industry businesses, the environment, and local government. Destination management creates sustainable growth to the benefit of the local community and supports environmental, economic, social, and cultural values.
Pillars
Based on the research conducted and stakeholder prioritization, the key challenges were distilled to create three pillars to focus strategic action. These pillars represent the overlap between stakeholder priorities and what ACRA can feasibly address.
