Restaurants are open and taking winter wonderland to the next level in Aspen. From warm and cozy chalets to on-mountain igloos and faux fur-lined seating, you’re going to want to check out our list below and reserve your spot to dine outside in this snowy season in Aspen.
Aspen Meadow’s Platos Igloos: These igloos are decked out with cozy, faux-fur lined seating for up to six people and are available for brunch, après ski (don't miss the pastry chef's hot chocolate bombs), and Plato's Winter Harvest menu, with entrees like Colorado Striped Bass with uni risotto, winter citrus, and fennel, and starters like Hammersley Oysters with apple, lemongrass, and parsley. The igloos are offered via reservation only (call 970.544.7824 to book). More details can be found here.
French Alpine Bistro: This winter season, the outdoor patio at La Creperie du Village will transport you to an atmosphere reminiscent of a dreamy log European ski chalet with high ventilation heating, candlelight lighting, cozy throws, and delicious fondue and raclette.
Bonnies: A local’s favorite mid-mountain dine-in spot is now offering personal igloos this winter season on their outdoor patio. Glide off the slopes and into your own personal igloo and indulge in local’s favorites such as homemade baked goods and the infamous white-bean chili. For more information on reserving your spot, click here.
Kemo Sabe: A one-stop shop for all things western, now you can gear up in style while staying warm in their winter outdoor hut. Arguably one of the most “grammable” spots found on the streets in downtown Aspen, you’ll want to stay long after designing your customized Kemo Sabe goods.
Almresi Aspen: Two words: Fondue. Gondola. Have the most cozy and exclusive winter experience in the Almresi fondue gondolas. The fondue adventure includes a three-course Alpine inspired menu paired with a plate of appetizers, Swiss cheese fondue as main course and a delicious dessert as well as a champagne toast and a selection of red and white wines.
Jing Aspen: Hit the slopes and then hit the dim sum on Jing’s winter-centered designed outdoor patio space. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy tasty Asian fare and hot sake set against a contemporary fire pit and chandeliers.
The Snow Lodge at the St. Regis Aspen: The Snow Lodge Supper Club. Located at The St. Regis Aspen Resort, The Snow Lodge Supper Club will offer a fresh and seasonally focused culinary experience, innovative cocktails, live music series, and much more all set in Winter yurts.
