Travel Tuesday: A Virtual Tour of Aspen

Looking for some guidance for your next getaway to Aspen? The Aspen Chamber Resort Association has launched a new 360° Virtual Tour of Aspen, so that you can explore Aspen's landscapes, historic sites, and activities from your computer! Created by Regal 360, the Virtual Tour allows you to plan your vacation from afar.

Hi-Resolution photographs are displayed in the top left-hand corner, which allows you to scroll through several in the current library, and in the main section of the webpage, a closer look at the red-brick walking mall, colorful foliage, and more. Each photo also has a location-based caption. Pick your favorite photos and bike, walk, or ride to their locations when you arrive in Aspen!

A special video is posted on the 'Guest Pavilion' photo. Just press the 'play' button to find out how Aspen defies the ordinary.

A map of Aspen is provided on the left column of the webpage. Virtual Tour visitors can zoom in or out and pan around to find the specific locations of their favorite photos, see other labeled landmarks and get a feel for the layout of the town.

Icons in the top left-hand corner serve as links to other visitor information. Information topics made available by these links include 'What to Do', 'Where to Stay', 'How to Get Here', as well as the Aspen Chamber website and events calendar. Icon links are also located at the bottom of the webpage. These allow users to manage the appearance of the webpage and access the Vacation Planner, display location information about a photo, share the tour with friends, and more.
