Aspen is a destination for nourishing the mind, body, and spirit. From invigorating workouts and fresh, nourishing meals to expert-led health discussions and restorative spiritual journeys, Aspen’s unique experiences and healthy lifestyle make it the perfect place to prioritize your well-being in 2026. Discover 10 ways to fulfill your health and wellness New Year’s resolutions in Aspen in 2026:

Aspen Ideas Health

Mental Wellness (Mind)

  1. Aspen Ideas: Health (June 22-25, 2026) is a three-day convening that explores the big ideas shaping the future of health, medicine, and science. Attendees are treated to 60+ sessions as well as interactive wellness activities, like yoga, nature hikes, and cultural offerings. Registration is now open!
  2. Whether laughing with friends at the Aspen Laugh Festival, dancing the night away to live music, or taking adult art classes at the Red Brick Center for the Arts, Aspen’s world-class arts and culture offers the perfect way to unwind or learn something new.
  3. The Advancing Women’s Health Series, presented by the Aspen Institute, is hosting a full lineup of medical and wellness experts to discuss key topics in women’s health. From hormones and heart health to nutrition and longevity, the series provides valuable insights for well-being at every stage of life.
Uphilling in Aspen

Physical Wellness (Body)

  1. Skin up any of the designated trails on Aspen Snowmass's four mountains (uphill pass required) for a rewarding winter workout. Along with aerobic benefits, enjoy the breathtaking mountain views and the peacefulness of being in nature. If you’re looking for some company, catch up with old friends and meet new ones at the Friday Morning Uphill Breakfast Club, Jan. 9 - March 27, 2026, and gear up with high-performance rentals at The Ute Mountaineer.
  2. Register for the Aspen Valley Marathon. While there’s no shortcut to training for a marathon, the 26.2 miles of awe-inspiring scenery will surely be a peak experience on race day, July 19, 2026. Looking to work your way up to completing a full marathon? Register for the Gold Leaf Half Marathon (2026 information to come), and run from Snowmass Village to Aspen on trails and roads lined with golden stands of aspen.
  3. Reset with restorative services and treatments that ease your adjustment to altitude at Base State Longevity or enjoy pure relaxation with soothing massages, rejuvenating facials, and more at a local spa.
  4. Kick off your morning or replenish with a nourishing, organic breakfast or lunch at Spring Cafe Aspen. Owner Sabrina Rudin has penned her first cookbook, Health with a Side of Happy, debuting April 2026. Like Spring Cafe, JUS, known for cold-pressed juices, refreshing smoothies, and fresh flavors, makes health and well-being a priority. Their detoxifying juices are packed with nutrients and antioxidants, each blend offering different health benefits to meet your unique health and wellness needs.
  5. Every Saturday morning from mid-June to early October, local produce, artisan goods, ready-to-eat treats, and more line the streets of downtown Aspen. Sweet cherries in early summer, juicy Palisade peaches from July to October, and flavorful Olathe corn in the heart of summer are a few highlights of the Aspen Saturday Market. Not only is local produce fresher and tastier, but it’s also healthier and fun to craft your own locally inspired meal.
Yoga on Aspen Mountain

Spiritual Wellness (Spirit)

  1. Calm your mind and melt away stress and tension with a Yin Yoga class or immerse yourself in a soothing oasis of sound at O2 Aspen’s restorative Sound Bath. During the summer, reconnect with nature at Aspen Shakti’s mountaintop yoga class on Aspen Mountain.
  2. Slow down and relax with Sound & Forest Bathing at Toklat or Hallam Lake with the Aspen Center for Environment Studies. Sound healing helps you arrive at a point of meditation, balancing and clearing the mind and supporting mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
