Hiking & Biking

Check out a list of favorite fall hikes recommended by notable Aspen locals as well as a list of all local hiking trails. Looking to explore Aspen but not quite sure where to go? Hire an ACES Naturalist Guide to take you out for the day. The guides are available by the hour and will lead guests on adventures of many varieties. ACES can provide transportation and will even pick up snacks and lunch. Basic fees for private, guided hikes are $60/hr per guide. Aspen truly is a biking town. From meandering riverside trails and serene road riding up to the Maroon Bells to some of the region's most extreme mountain biking, Aspen has a bit for every level of rider. Take a look at some local bike trails ranging from easy to difficult and head to Aspen's bike shops to receive local knowledge, equipment and guided tours.
