10 Beautiful Photos of Aspen Fall Colors from the 2016 Aspen Photo Challenge

Nature 4

After a week-long flurry of photography, the 2016 Aspen Photo Challenge concluded at Belly Up Aspen, and the winners were announced. Ten local photographers competed in three different categories and had the chance of winning six in the inaugural photo contest presented by Aspen Chamber Resort Association Destination Marketing with media partner Outside Magazine.

Participating photographers included:
Keala Asher, Seth Beckton, Dirk Braun, David Clifford, Jordan Curet, Ross Daniels, Jason Dewey, Jesse Hoffman, Zach Maraziti, and Jeremy Swanson.

We want to hear from you—Aspen fans! Our audience has the chance to vote for their favorite Aspen photographer via the Crowd Favorite category. To vote for crowd favorite,  visit www.aspenchamber.org/aspenphotochallenge. You can vote once a day until we announce the Crowd Favorite Winner on Nov. 2, 2016!

The judges for this year’s challenge were Nicole Birkhold of Birkhold Ink, Tiffany Cook of Aspen Skiing Company, Jim Harris of 5 Point Film Festival, Jakob Schiller of Outside Magazine, and Andrew Studer and Toby Harriman, photographers and social media influencers.

Each photographer brought a creative approach and refreshing perspective to capturing the breathtaking fall colors in Aspen.
